maybe sum r confused..is dis blog focus on a saga or a putra? nah..previous posting wuz regarding a simple project to enhance a 4g93 without kena tipu la :P..the end..
as de above pictures, de Snow Performance Stage 2 water/methanol injection is now ready to be installed in my saga...i repeat..saga la..since de pump n de reservoir will be mounted in de rear trunk..i nid to get de extra solenoid upgrade(cost around rm400,ebay..duh!!!!!) to prevent de gravity flowing issues. dats y most shop will jz install it in the engine bay..which is to me..hmm..tak cun la..messy..i dun like it dat way..wit dis water/meth injec thingy, it will decrease the intake temp, prevent detonation/knocking which means? i could increase the ignition timing..hahaha lolx...opss..
till then..it will be installed after raya...get it run..and ...i'll be throwing it on the dyno roller to see de result. i would like to wish Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir & Batin.
a 4g93 story ... FINAL
ok,jz b4 going for a dyno session,fews things had been done, cold air intake hose installed..i would say its worth it..nice rev response from low to hi rpm..cam dialing is being done again jz to ensure proper opening n closing of de valve with set of equipment..not jz by "rasa rasa"..oh well..
so arrived at de Millenium around 1.30pm..1st run without de emanage..and de next run with emanage..jz to inform again that..dis 4g93p doesnt hv high-cam wutever stage (stock cam), no porting involve (stock head), no high compression piston (stock 93p low comp piston), stock putra muffler (piping size 2")..last run on 1st september, de engine produced 106.4whp..and now..15th september, result shows 134.9whp..interesting aite?..
it shows dat, u nid 2 noe ur stuff, spend within ur budget, and u'll be happy wit de result. no point throwing lots of money jz to ensure u hv funky engine list of expensive n high brand parts? betul?..porting bagai nak gila la, dis n dat la..keep it simple je..no need to show off..in the end..if this Putra 93P kalah pon..tak malu.. most the internal parts r stock..even the flywheel r stock.. ...amcam?..hehehe..read from the beginning of this 93P journey..
i can now rest while waiting for de owner to hv fun with his "new" ride..hahaha..anyway..credits goes to my dad..the person who responsible in getting the best tuning for dis setup and putting it together, my frens (jinkl methanol 63T, epul mirage kuat,khoyos joe supra laju, mell amir - tokey kedai potong, man mivec hytech, nizam 93p MS, ariff damnmachine seremban, shawal 93T CD5W - asti spoiler pawah, and few others who had help me in hunting down all the parts.. thank you so much guys..n 1 thing kan..when de project started, i've been meeting/making few new frens which indeed had share their personal experience in mod scene. dun just lepak oni 1 workshop..do walk around..senang ckp..campur la masyarakat sikit..dok je melangut 1 bengkel..bukan bole berkembang otak...ok?..tq.. any Q's...YM me sumjor@yahoo.com

btw..since there is no D day..yet..went out to old klang road..hunting down de Ralliart gear knob..price..hhmm..ok kot?..owner requested it..so jz beli je lew...
apart from dat, i've bought de TTc cover, Samco 4mm and 6mm hose..plus oct had been installed..samco radiator hose might probably after i got de aluminium radiator (hope so..ahahahha)...all dis r jz for bling factor..de car can still run without it..but still...mesti la nk nampak kemas rite?...

done de piping installation over here which is..cheaper..hey doesn't mean u pay peanut & get a peanut..sum pay higher price for the same stuff (in dis case..a normal 2" pipe "putih") but get a so so(bad) workmanship... situated in Klang, Ah Seng, offered a great price..tak percaye?..try la..ignore the scene..look at de stuff 1st..lolx...a better look shop doesn't mean cheap...
next, after piping thingy is done, de car quickly being sent to get a clutch change. 3 pucks is in now together with de evo mounting and major service hv been done. i must say..it took less than a month to get dis car back crawling on de road with the mod listed..while a workshop took around almost 1 month to get it done..hmm..maybe bz doing other customer cars or...malas..delay n delay..kan?betul?..mmg pon...duh...parked de car for 2 weeks..collecting dust..later baru buat..hahaha..dun deny it ok..
the ending part..car will be on de dyno roller probably by this friday..or by next week...1 hour dyno tuning will be performed jz to see de outcome from all of this mod..hoping it will achive my target range..kalah pon takpe..stock part maa..hahaha..

moving on to the next part, cylinder head is being dismantle, block wall shows there is no visible scratch or watsoever. a lil bit clean up and a new cylinder is ready to be drop in. in dis stage, no hi-comp piston is being used (most people r using 4g92 sohc piston). why?..hehehe..ade la, 60mm throttle body is polished, and the gsr intake manifold oso being match-port....others,hmm.. a 0.8mm metal gasket will be used tho..
after few days looking for de 4g93p camshaft..at last...i've found it..previously, lots of seller offering at a ridicoulous price.. hmm..probably due de camshaft is hard to find..a 4g91,92 or 93 turbo hv a different lift..thus..i need to use back de stock 93 cam. remember, i'm not going to use any high-cam in dis project...jz to see how many kuda kepang will be thrown out down to the dyno roller.

sumthing bad happened..its appeared that de oem stock 93P head is no longer be usable plus with the camshaft (due to oil starvation). changing de oem camshaft is easy...BUT..finding it..oh man..its like u own a vintage car ke?..it took me few days..scouting for the stock 93 cam..and the great part.. oso kene cari de 93 gsr thermostat housing which currently having different size compare to a 93P ...arghhh..oni now i noe its difficult to find 93/gsr parts nowdays..price?..
4G92 Mivec - Custom Header
header?wut is a header?..probably not many understand it unless u called it "extractor"....ooooooo...lolx...as seen in the pic..try to guess wut type of header is being fitted to this sleeper 92 mivec motor?...it has a 2.5" collector, made out from 304 stainless steel with long type of tri-y type design and fully imported from the States..aha?!..
feedback given by the owner, the mid-range has improved alot compare to his previous custom made extractor which i reckon is a R3 style? (kan kan kan? :P)..i'm impressed with the build quality. even tho few adjustment/mod is required to ensure its fit well with de 92 mivec motor.
price?...dun ask...lolx..u wont believe it..

today is the D day...i mean dyno day..yay!..(dyno is being done at Millennium Motorsport, Sunway)
de stock 4g93 motor (wei..seriyesly la..std 100%..virgin lagi maa)...after being dynoed, pump out 106.4whp@6500rpm of kuda liar..hurmm...from de info i've gathered, a stock 4g93..STOCK ok..producing less than 120whp...hurmm.. no wonder a 4g15 wit stroker kit could give a hard time for 4g93 owner..hahaha...opssss....i mean..a stock 4g93 .. :P
so...since the basic+vital info of the current power has been printed out..at least..we noe wether the next upgrade will yield out more kuda liar?..till then..i'll continue the next part after few weeks time..enjoy.. drop me a msg via YM sumjor@yahoo.com

since today is de public holiday..got no luck in getting this ride onto the dyno roller, most of de shop in sunway is close..for sure..arghh..will be back by tomorrow..hehe..after getting to drive dis 4g93..i must say..sumthing is wrong.. weak throttle response..ah senang cakap slow la bai..no wonder la de owner is worried with his ride..hmm..
