Sapura PRO-Ride rear spring for Proton Saga



wuz bz wit my work when i stumbled on a selling thread...sapura new product line of spring..Pro Ride..i quickly sms de seller, price offered is quite reasonable n decided to give it a try. dun get me wrong here, even tho im using TiTan..they don't provide the rear spring for my type of rear suspension..i've tried few brands, and im still not satisfy with the result. where most like"tonggek" style..(i mean like a drag style..where rear is higher - NO OFFENCE but exprerience do tought me sum about de value of life..tak kena belum tahu bai..dah kena cite tak guna bai)..rojak with diff model of spring, too stiff..too soft..too high..hey man..but i do like this kind of cars on the road...hehe.i mean watching them taking the corner n trying to get away from me..is kinda funny..the car wobble., rear tail shaking like a fish..i'm the 1 who is scrared actually..hahahahha..but maybe the driver in front of me "hati kering" (dying is a 2nd thing, as long wining is wining) lolx..so conclusion? next time give me way la..kerek plak.. :P ok

2009 - new setup..

2009 is around de corner,
now, with experience, info n data dat i've collected, i'll proceed wit a new setup for my junk,
since de engine was once overheated, i need to source out a new cyc head, get a different pNp, upgrade the current ignition setup, new suspension setup and much more to list.
i'll be back for more stuff wit dis 4g13 little tiny motor..dohc stay away.! i noe ur guys r much faster then me :P go n play wit ur own people :P hihi..

dyno session will be rolled out too, a camshaft selection still juggling in my mind, since de current stage 1 matspeed, is like driving a normal car..u noe..stock exhaust sound..hehe..

jz to highlight 1 of my favorite car which running MS ems with great vid. the passion shown by the owner is wut i'm looking at. with great power output generated, proper tuning, well built MS, it can jz produced whp dat u r looking for. but instead, here, its another way around, im jz hoping 1 day, a ms user will run with dis kind of setup and of course, with style and well prepared.

thank god the owner survive from the crash..leaving de Putra..in a real bad shape. most of the front parts r total. :(
it happened on de 15th of nov 2008, where supposedly owner r on de way to watch Sepang Drag battle (final round) from Melake due to sum reason.

car had been towed to the nearest workshop..where i assumed..CONFIRM..few of the stuff will be stolen/cilok/roket/curi. im not trying to tuduh, but dis is the real fact. kinda hard to find an honest shop out there, ape tah lagi when u doing insurance thingy stuff. so things dat going to be target r de samco hose (ala..bos..ini sula talak bole repair maa..tuka lain..)..aluminium radiator which i saw from the mms sent is totally faktap..(mostly sure hilang during collecting the car)...OR during de car was being towed away..biase la kan..for sure got tangan panjang..demmit.!

further more, discussion had been made, doing plan for next step once de car is out from the workshop...stay tuned...

doing modification is not easy as u guys tink off.. rojak2 thingy..yes..sum rojak with good combination of skills and idea, could produce a kind of surprise in performance. but, the risk dat u need 2 confront..is high(seriously) . sum r able to understand..but sum r expecting it to run smooth jz like stock factory and unable to accept if dat thing broken/pecah. for sure the bengkel will be blame. 1 thing for sure..rojak=risk.. if u dun hv the guts..pls pls pls pls...do stay away..jz drive ur stock car..hehe.. so i 1 to share 1 of the pic of my latest project..clearance issue,wear n tear, in which causing it to malfunction unexpected. with current cost which is, hmm..i would say a bit insane..and wut i hv now..r the pieces from my hard work.. sad, indeed i'll be back again with 2nd attempt..oh man..dah mcm bayar downpayment for another car..hahahahaha..

ah..1 last thing..i've change to a exedy racing clutch cover..mate up with my 6 pucks Triniti.. i would say..the feel is much2 better compare to my so called Exedy (duh!) clutch cover which came along with the Triniti..hmm..why?

next entry, Innovate Motorsports LC-1 + DB Gauge




after waiting for de stock for 2 weeks, (tak puas ati lagi ni :P), de LC-1 + blue db gauge has arrived at my door step via UPS. called up my fwen and informed dat his lansi 1..ops, sori, his LC-1 is ready to be installed into his car. the bung is welded properly to de extractor and being wired up to his Megasquirt-1 v3.

people tot dis is just only a tuning tools, yes it is, but when u integrate it with Megasquirt, its a different story. do sum reading regarding this thing k. keyword is closed loop thingy. get the idea?..
his fuel consumption should be better i must say.

mod mod mod n more mods..

being a person who drive a 1989 saga as a daily commuter sumtime makes me felt that i'm being left behind..with old skool type of suspension, old chassis which waiting its time to pecah 2 :P hehe, sum called as kotak tisu chassis, tin milo, and others term too. i jz need to admit, there is still limitation for wut i've done. few fwens kept asking why saga?..why not er..satria?..putra?..y u nid to put all the hassle modding, customizing parts to fit it in while u can jz plug n play like satria n putra..or..maybe a honda EG,EK?..hmm..y?.. there is a reason... once mod is completely done, i'll move on to get another chasis.. (doesnt u guys ever tired paying monthly payment?????..i do :P)..

aaa..a boring story kan..kan?..anyway..there r few mods coming in..but sum need to be kept secret.. u noe la kan.. if u can do it better.. do it quietly until its proven. less bang bang boom i want dis dat..end up fak up is not necessary duh and add up 1 more.. Aluminum Radiator for Proton Saga




last time, only those who r "selected" could afford an aluminum radiator. price is thousand of RM. u guys should know how much a Koyo n Fluidyne market price huh?..but dun worry, thanks to our local people who managed to get it cheaper, but of course, its a non brand type. yah yah yah..i noe brand come 1st..but if u could fork out RM2300 for a Koyo rad..its ok, but if u cakap besar but unable to buy it, forget it, shut the hell up. people tends to tell story this brand good la..that good la..hello brader..go and buy it 1st, no point bragging it if u can't afford it. i always advise people to play within ur budget, what is the show off matter la?..come on..i've always hear this kind of story and im boring. duh?!!

ok continue, so i went to dis shop wit my fwen, jz a normal/ordinary radiator shop, but..they r selling aluminium radiator. at that time, de fella wuz finishing up a custom Proton Saga aluminium radiator that being ordered by a customer. quoted me around RM900 per unit, where a honda EG/EK aluminium radiator cost only around RM400. pls, i do noe the market price, hahahaha..
i'm kinda confused wether to put a honda eg/ek type radiator into my Saga which needs a lot of custom fabrication jz to mount it.

hmm..
anyway, i havent order it yet, but will get it in few months time. its a lightweight radiator, thickness is 2 inch, and able to dissipate heat most effectively. arghh!!!

DEI - Radiator Relief Coolant Additive



Heat..i hv few experience heat..worst ever happened to me..engine stall at de old klang road. a lesson to be learn. that wuz few months ago la kan. hehe, so, i came across a person who r selling DEI brand, which is 1 of the rival coolant in the market, talking bout Redline Waterwetter huh?..try use DEI for ur next coolant change.

Drax Tuned Chip - Putra 4G93P


This time, a Proton Putra with a 4G93P stock motor (ala..ye la..few bolt on je tu), owned by a friend of mine. Supposedly it had running a Drax re-chip ecu by using a 2468 ecu from a Proton GTi model but due to a glitch, thus forcing him to revert back to a stock putra ecu (sedih nye :P).


After doing sum tweaking to de engine, together with real time tuning (where people r still confused..wut r those?) monitored by a Innovate Motorsports LM-2 wideband making tuning more accurate n appropriate. Although no dyno tuning being performed, getting the right air/fuel, making sure there is no knocking, it will still performed but, putting it on a dyno roller could yield sum maybe 2-3 ekor kuda liar..haha.. making high whp on roller doesn’t mean u’ll be the ultimate king on de road.

Remember, there r sum of underground petrol head could out run u even with no dyno sheet as a proof. Hmm... maybe?...afterall, sum dun hv a budget for a dyno tuning..ingat murah ke beb? Talk is cheap..try throw few hundreds ringgit for jz a 1 hour session.. sure korang berkira punye :P ..but still, do proceed it if u hv an extra budget J it wont hurt..maybe jz a blown motor on de roller kot? Hahaha..lol..

ok..still remember de aluminum rdiator i wuz thinking to throw it into dis putra? yes..its installed now..lol..along wit the Samco radiator hose..now the engine bay looks more UMPHHH..! and also..fitted de K&N drop in type air filter... i'm not a fan of open pod air filter which sucks hot air..people jz like the sound by using it..where actually..it will decrease ur whp tho...huhuhu..

brake - part 2


k, continue from the previous post, installation is done after waiting for 4 days!..that bcoz..de high engineering skill required by the machine shop..ampeh btol.. last time when i sent de other saga for twin pot conversion..it took around 2 hours to get it done..talking bout eningeering huh?..doesnt mean u hv the equipment, u can get the job done if u do not know what r u doing..it almost ruin my knuckle..haih..luckly the problem wuz being tackled by the workshop..

1st impression..damn..de alignment it off..and so does the camber..hahaha..fixed it..and yessssss..totally crap when the brake is cold..lolx...but the grip is building up when the temp is up..hurmmm..need to get use to it..

got my self a Endless VN9500 0-300deg brake pad..for my cd5a 4g93 GSR front disc brake setup which will be installed probably by this week. bought it at SS Racing with the price tag of..hmm..ok la..rather using my current metal king pad...causing wear n tear to my current 4g61t mirage front disc..gegar bai..no others brake option rather than metal king..hmm..

hoping i'll hv Endless fun wit dis thing..hehe

maybe sum r confused..is dis blog focus on a saga or a putra? nah..previous posting wuz regarding a simple project to enhance a 4g93 without kena tipu la :P..the end..

as de above pictures, de Snow Performance Stage 2 water/methanol injection is now ready to be installed in my saga...i repeat..saga la..since de pump n de reservoir will be mounted in de rear trunk..i nid to get de extra solenoid upgrade(cost around rm400,ebay..duh!!!!!) to prevent de gravity flowing issues. dats y most shop will jz install it in the engine bay..which is to me..hmm..tak cun la..messy..i dun like it dat way..wit dis water/meth injec thingy, it will decrease the intake temp, prevent detonation/knocking which means? i could increase the ignition timing..hahaha lolx...opss..

till then..it will be installed after raya...get it run..and ...i'll be throwing it on the dyno roller to see de result. i would like to wish Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir & Batin.
