Aluminum Radiator for Proton Saga




last time, only those who r "selected" could afford an aluminum radiator. price is thousand of RM. u guys should know how much a Koyo n Fluidyne market price huh?..but dun worry, thanks to our local people who managed to get it cheaper, but of course, its a non brand type. yah yah yah..i noe brand come 1st..but if u could fork out RM2300 for a Koyo rad..its ok, but if u cakap besar but unable to buy it, forget it, shut the hell up. people tends to tell story this brand good la..that good la..hello brader..go and buy it 1st, no point bragging it if u can't afford it. i always advise people to play within ur budget, what is the show off matter la?..come on..i've always hear this kind of story and im boring. duh?!!

ok continue, so i went to dis shop wit my fwen, jz a normal/ordinary radiator shop, but..they r selling aluminium radiator. at that time, de fella wuz finishing up a custom Proton Saga aluminium radiator that being ordered by a customer. quoted me around RM900 per unit, where a honda EG/EK aluminium radiator cost only around RM400. pls, i do noe the market price, hahahaha..
i'm kinda confused wether to put a honda eg/ek type radiator into my Saga which needs a lot of custom fabrication jz to mount it.

hmm..
anyway, i havent order it yet, but will get it in few months time. its a lightweight radiator, thickness is 2 inch, and able to dissipate heat most effectively. arghh!!!

DEI - Radiator Relief Coolant Additive



Heat..i hv few experience heat..worst ever happened to me..engine stall at de old klang road. a lesson to be learn. that wuz few months ago la kan. hehe, so, i came across a person who r selling DEI brand, which is 1 of the rival coolant in the market, talking bout Redline Waterwetter huh?..try use DEI for ur next coolant change.

Drax Tuned Chip - Putra 4G93P


This time, a Proton Putra with a 4G93P stock motor (ala..ye la..few bolt on je tu), owned by a friend of mine. Supposedly it had running a Drax re-chip ecu by using a 2468 ecu from a Proton GTi model but due to a glitch, thus forcing him to revert back to a stock putra ecu (sedih nye :P).


After doing sum tweaking to de engine, together with real time tuning (where people r still confused..wut r those?) monitored by a Innovate Motorsports LM-2 wideband making tuning more accurate n appropriate. Although no dyno tuning being performed, getting the right air/fuel, making sure there is no knocking, it will still performed but, putting it on a dyno roller could yield sum maybe 2-3 ekor kuda liar..haha.. making high whp on roller doesn’t mean u’ll be the ultimate king on de road.

Remember, there r sum of underground petrol head could out run u even with no dyno sheet as a proof. Hmm... maybe?...afterall, sum dun hv a budget for a dyno tuning..ingat murah ke beb? Talk is cheap..try throw few hundreds ringgit for jz a 1 hour session.. sure korang berkira punye :P ..but still, do proceed it if u hv an extra budget J it wont hurt..maybe jz a blown motor on de roller kot? Hahaha..lol..

ok..still remember de aluminum rdiator i wuz thinking to throw it into dis putra? yes..its installed now..lol..along wit the Samco radiator hose..now the engine bay looks more UMPHHH..! and also..fitted de K&N drop in type air filter... i'm not a fan of open pod air filter which sucks hot air..people jz like the sound by using it..where actually..it will decrease ur whp tho...huhuhu..

brake - part 2


k, continue from the previous post, installation is done after waiting for 4 days!..that bcoz..de high engineering skill required by the machine shop..ampeh btol.. last time when i sent de other saga for twin pot conversion..it took around 2 hours to get it done..talking bout eningeering huh?..doesnt mean u hv the equipment, u can get the job done if u do not know what r u doing..it almost ruin my knuckle..haih..luckly the problem wuz being tackled by the workshop..

1st impression..damn..de alignment it off..and so does the camber..hahaha..fixed it..and yessssss..totally crap when the brake is cold..lolx...but the grip is building up when the temp is up..hurmmm..need to get use to it..

got my self a Endless VN9500 0-300deg brake pad..for my cd5a 4g93 GSR front disc brake setup which will be installed probably by this week. bought it at SS Racing with the price tag of..hmm..ok la..rather using my current metal king pad...causing wear n tear to my current 4g61t mirage front disc..gegar bai..no others brake option rather than metal king..hmm..

hoping i'll hv Endless fun wit dis thing..hehe
