After a year with Megasquirt

hey,wut do u noe, been using Megasquirt EMS for a year plus now, having nice experience with it for my daily use. Credits goes to my dad's who installed and tuned this amazing stuff in my car. without him, i could only stare my Megasquirt on my table. lol..

i've encountered few peoples which hv doubt about this thing, yah.. its not a mainstream as those "tec tec" which r selling like a hot cakes in (example) Sunway performance shops. but then, those who read more about it, do sum research (u noe wut Google for rite???); and do the assumption urself.

UPDATED = 3rd Dec 2006 with in-car pics

ok..got it wired up to my MS1...firmware need to be update and yet..the visibility is good man...

Something with the interior...

got myself a used Recaro SPG. it came wif a railing which i'm not sure for wut car it was installed previously (even the seller didnt noe)..hmm..how i wished if it was equipped with FIA-homologated side mounts :( ...

the shell is made from a
glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) and has friction grip surface in the shoulder area. as for the installation, few cuts and welding r required in order to get it fit into my Saga. next on the list will be the proper aluminium side mounts and probably a harness? hehe..

Infinite Aluminium Radiator

Infinite?..huh?..chill out, bought this Infinite aluminium radiator from ZTH forum. It was meant for Honda Integra DC2, but it will be fitted into a Proton Saga due to the overall dimension does suit into the engine bay. The Infinite radiator will handle higher revving, high performance engine (sort of,lol) and providing more cooling capacity than the stock radiator, it should handle well :D.

based from the net (lazy to measure it myself :D), the measurement is as per below:-
-Height 13 7/8"
-Length 26 5/8"
-Width 1 9/16"

Matspeed Stage 1 4G15 Camshaft

its been a while that i hvn't update my blog..yada yada yada.
.enuf wif the typical introduction..lol..
i've been using Matspeed cam for few months now in my 4G15 motor. even tho its jz a Stage 1 (hey, my air cond function as per normal), it did not lose bottom end power from stock. The gains were recorded from 5000 rpm on. It doenst hv any slopy idle too. but again, u can't expect more jz by using a Stage 1. next mod, i'll be getting the stage 3 *(if) hehe..
